Hello Reader, Okay, real talk, how's it already this deep into May? Like, where did the year go? I feel like I blinked and suddenly we're almost halfway through 2025. Wild. But honestly? I'm not mad about it. Because when I look back at everything I've done so far this year, I'm kind of blown away. I created my program, launched my Ecosystem Relationship Manager Done-For-You service, and, y'all, I am ONE WEEK away from publishing my very first book. One. Week. I'm still processing that. 😵💫 This time last year looked completely different. I'd just walked away from a six-figure corporate job and was out here trying to figure out what full-time entrepreneurship even meant (and wondering if I'd lost my damn mind). Spoiler: I had because entrepreneurship is nothing like running a side hustle. Nothing. I cannot stress that enough. And after everything I've put into building this thing, here's the first big lesson I've learned: it takes so much longer than you think to get this thing full steam off the ground. I'm serious. My actual plan was to leave my job in December, spend all of January sleeping in, start working on the business in February, and be profitable by May. I'm not joking. That was the plan. Go ahead and laugh, I'll wait. Here's the thing, though. I don't think I was naive. I think I was just misinformed. I believed the people online telling me that if I just followed their simple little program, I'd be making $10K in 30 days. We've all seen it. A lot of us have fallen for it (including me). No shame. What I'm proud of is that I caught on fast, stepped back, and decided to build this thing the right way, from the ground up, with my own two hands, on my own terms. It took blood, sweat, and more than a few frustrated tears (ahem screams). But I believe in every single thing I've created, and I can't wait to put it all in your hands. Now I want to hear from you: What's the biggest lesson you've learned so far on your entrepreneurial journey? Hit reply and tell me. I genuinely love hearing from you all. I'm going to get back to putting the finishing touches on the audiobook version of De-Centering Algorithms this week, but you'll be hearing from me a few more times before the week is out. Don't forget to grab your pre-order if you haven't already! Chat soon, have a great Tuesday! 💛

Hi Reader, Happy Monday! I survived yet another weekend of winter weather in North Carolina. This weekend's weather wasn't nearly as bad as they said it would be. Last weekend did get pretty icy, but this weekend we were supposed to get 3 - 6 inches of snow. We didn't. There's probably a dusting out there. But I'm not complaining. I am grateful that we aren't snowed it. Anyway, I spent the week and weekend making some tweaks to the Business Launch Formula, my new program. I soft launched it a...
Hey Reader, Today is actually Thursday. I usually write these newsletters on Friday, but I wanted to get as much done before the ice storm that was set to hit North Carolina this weekend including editing videos, responding to emails, preparing for podcast interviews (that may not happen if I don't have power), shopping for emergency supplies, filling up the car, and checking that I still had those flashlights I bought 5 years ago during the last winter storm. The goal was to be prepared. The...
Hey Reader, We're only three full weeks into the year and I've already learned a very valuable lesson. It's actually a lesson I've heard many times before, but never fully understood until now. Don't cry over spilled milk. Last Wednesday I hosted my second webinar and while I was nervous in the beginning, I felt really good about it. Everything was prepared and I was all setup and ready to go a full 30 minutes before the start of the webinar. Now, when I hosted my first webinar back in...
